Apply to be a coach

We are building the founding roster now: black belts who can deliver a written report and a voiceover in Portuguese or English, wherever in the world you teach. State your rank, your professor, and where we can confirm it.

Before you start

What the work pays

Leave your email below and we will send you what you keep on every breakdown, worked out with real numbers.

Two costs come off before the split, shared by coaches and the platform: card processing on each charge, and Stripe’s fee for your monthly transfer. Both are Stripe’s published rates, and both show in your payout details.

The work

A member sends footage of a match or a roll. You review it thoroughly, mark the key moments, and hand back feedback they can apply at training this week.

  1. 01

    Mark the timestamps

Every critical moment, marked in the workbench, on the video. No generic paragraphs and no advice recalled from memory.

  2. 02

    Write the report

Where the openings are, why, and at least one recommended drill to fix it. Specific enough that they know what to do at training.

  3. 03

    Record the voiceover

Your voice over their footage. The coach who marked the timestamps records the walkthrough. One coach, start to finish.

  4. 04

    Within 48 hours

We measure turnaround from real deliveries and show it on your profile.

What we ask for

Black belt, verified

A black belt handles every paid breakdown. We check everyone's rank before their first submission, so the form asks who promoted you and how to confirm it.

A language you coach in

We deliver reports and voiceovers in English or Portuguese today. Members get their breakdown in the language they use on the mats, and more languages open as qualified coaches join. Apply and tell us yours.

Capacity you can keep

Tell us how many breakdowns a week you can comfortably deliver. A lower number you can keep every week is worth more than a higher one, and you can raise it whenever you want.

Accepted and published are separate stages

Accepting your application opens your coach workbench, and you can start taking submissions. Appearing on the public roster at /coaches is a separate step, taken once your profile page (photo, headline, bio, specialties) is filled in and read. You write it yourself in your console once you are promoted. Take your time: members choose you from this page.

The one standard

Claim a breakdown only when you have time for it

Aim to deliver the same day you claim, not on the 48-hour limit. A member who has just sent footage is waiting on one person. You can hold up to 3 at a time, and anything left untouched for 24 hours returns to the queue on its own.

Claim only what you can turn around now, with your schedule and your own training in mind.

The ranks above black belt

Legend breakdowns are reviewed by the ranks above black belt. Apply through this same form and tick the Legend box; we will pick the conversation up directly. How the Legends Program works.

Apply

You need a free account to apply. Accepting your application promotes that same account to a coach profile, and it is the account you will review from.
