The shape of it
Coaches keep the large majority of what a breakdown or a live session brings in, after payment processing fees. Stripe pays it out monthly. Membership and On-Demand work shares a pool across everyone who delivered that month. Live 1:1 sessions and Legend reviews are priced on their own numbers, with no pool.
Two costs come off before the split, and you carry your share of both: card processing on each charge, and Stripe’s fee for sending your monthly transfer. Both are Stripe’s published rates, and both show on your payout as their own lines.
The exact split, the worked math, and what a refund or a dispute takes back are all real numbers we would rather explain to you directly than post for anyone to read. Leave your email and we will send it over.
Read this part before you apply
The platform is new, with no floor, no minimum, and no retainer. A month that collects little makes a small pool. Fewer breakdowns mean a higher payout per breakdown; a busy month with many coaches means a lower one. The rule works both ways.
When it lands
- 01
You deliver
A ledger row is written the moment the breakdown reaches the member. Pool work shows no amount yet, and says why, instead of an estimate that changes later.
- 02
The month closes
We work the pool out from the month's charges, and every accrued row gets its final amount. Fixed-price work already has one.
- 03
A payout run opens
Priced rows are transferred to your Stripe account. You connect that account once, from your earnings page. Stripe has to verify a coach before anything can be paid.
- 04
Small balances wait
Stripe charges a flat fee to send a transfer, so a very small balance carries to the next month instead of being swallowed by the fee. Nothing expires. You can also raise your own minimum to hold slow months together.
Refunds and chargebacks
Money that goes back
- A refunded charge reverses the earning row it created, automatically, on your ledger
- A disputed charge is excluded from the payout while the dispute is open
- Every reversal carries a plain-language reason on the row
Pool split calculations are final
Every ledger row records the share in effect the moment it was written. A later change to the platform share applies to future work only and never rewrites what you were already owed. Your earnings page shows the exact rate on each row.
How the queue works
New submissions are claimed from an open queue, in stages. When a member has selected you as their coach, the submission is yours alone for the first 24 hours. Next, coaches with a strong member-survey record get an early window, then the whole roster. Being good at this earns earlier access, never a different rate. You can hold up to 3 claims at once, and a claim without studio activity for 24 hours returns to the queue automatically.
Performance and ratings
Members complete a private survey after each delivered breakdown. Individual answers, scores and comments are read by admin staff only, and never by the coach they are about. What reaches you is an average, released in batches once enough surveys have been answered that no single member can be picked out of it, together with anything an administrator chooses to pass on. There is no public star rating on this platform, and the public roster shows what you delivered and how fast.
